Detail
Lewis Carroll might have called this glass sculpture 'a frit garden.” Here the frit is art glass which has been crushed, sifted through different gauge screens, and then carefully arranged and fused in a glass kiln to form different kinds of flowers, hostas, and tree foliage. The scene is illuminated day or night by a light, recessed into the rear of the hardwood base, which is reflected off the wall behind.
Limited edition of 30.
