No wonder the Spanish came to use their word 'sierra'--meaning a saw--to describe any mountain range of sharp peaks, e.g., Sierra Nevada or Sierra Madre. All of the kiln-polished glass pieces--snowy summits, foothills, trees, moon--of this interactive work of landscape art are fully re-arrangeable to create a variety of scenes. The sculpture is illuminated either day or night by a light, recessed into the rear of the hardwood base, which is reflected off the wall behind.

Limited edition of 50.
